| Pei Yang Pei Yang was born in Yang Zhou, China in 1971. He began his art studies in high school and since then he has won a number of prizes from group exhibitions and competitions. In 1994 he came to Canada and studied fine art at the Ottawa School of Art an Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada. Since 1989 his paintings have been shown at galleries, government halls and international film festivals in Canada and China. His paintings are represented in galleries across Canada. In the past few years he also put his talents in film animation and set design to work as an art director and visual development artist. He credits can be seen from films produced by Columbia Studio, Dreamworks Studios and many others. He was one of the Emmy Award winning artists from the TV series Sagwa - The Chinese Siamese Cat in the year 2002. Today, Pei resides in Montreal to continue his career in art. | |||||||||||
